Southern New Mexico Community Development

Collaborative community development and revitalization partnerships across rural southern New Mexico.

Highlighting NM assets to bring community and economic development.

Southern New Mexico is the ideal place to experience the landscape, celebrate the beauty of our region, embrace the rich history and enjoy a higher quality of life. Our smallest towns have some of the best living and greatest opportunities for saving what we most enjoy. And in southern NM, we want to do everything we can to restore, rebuild and further develop our communities for today and years into the future.

Our community-asset based approach highlights the strengths of SoNM while preserving essential agricultural, cultural and historical landmarks.
